Here is Cooper at 7 months. He is so fun and so delightful. The kids still fight over who gets to get him out of bed in the morning and after nap time. They can't get enough of him and they call him "Cooper-The-Winston" One day, Fin, Coop & I were walking into Costco and there was a baby in front of us. Fin said "There's a baby, Mom." I said "Yes, I see him." She then said "Our baby is way cuter." I said "I agree Fin, but we can't say stuff like that out loud...it could cause some problems". Got a pretty good chuckle out of that one!

Oliver's 8th Birthday (August 2015)
Oliver had a fun 8th birthday. He had a good turn out...it's usually a little hard since school usually starts the day before his birthday and the last 2 yrs the weather has been cold and rainy. That kind of stinks when you expect nice, hot, beautiful weather at the end of August. Everyone is almost always out of town on their last summer vacations/camping trips, but this year he had 8 boys show up so he was excited! They had a great time. He got lots of sports stuff, which he loved, since he is our sports maniac! Happy Birthday Buddy, we love you so much!
3rd Grade Student of the Semester (March 2015)
For 3rd grade, Berkeley got Mrs. Larson. When she found out, she was a bit disappointed and a bit terrified since Mrs. Larson has a reputation for being very strict and "Sergeant-like". I told her I had a 5th grade teacher with the same reputation and I was scared to be in her class too, but she ended up being one of my favorite teachers and I still remember how much I enjoyed being in her class. I told her she had absolutely nothing to worry about since she has never had any problems in school and as long as she was well behaved, listened well & did her work, she'd be just fine. During conferences Mrs. Larson told us that if she could, she "would have 23 Berkeley's in her class." She ended up getting Student of the Semester and this is what Mrs. Larson wrote:
Berkeley is an outstanding student. She is always on task and is attentive during every lesson. Berkeley’s classroom and school behavior is stellar and she is a great role model for others.
At the end of the year, when school ended, Berkeley said Mrs. Larson ended up being her favorite teacher. Good job Berk, we knew you'd have another great year. We are so proud of you!!!

My Cuties (October 2014)
Took some fun pictures of the kids. They all fought over who got to hold Coop. Berk won this time since she's the oldest & we didn't want him getting fussy. I think they all had just a little bit of fun!!!
Cooper - 6months (September 2014)
Here is Coop at 6 mo. He is such a doll. I am so glad we have him. I don't really know what else to say...his cuteness just kind of speaks for itself :)
Cooper-5 months (August 2014)
Can't believe our adorable baby boy is 5 months old already. I think because he is my last, but I am just devouring every second with him. There is something about knowing that you won't be having any more babies...it really does make you absolutely savor & soak up every possible minute. The minutes, days, hours & months go so incredibly fast & they are tiny for such a short time. Still wish I could invent something to freeze them and make them stop growing so they could stay tiny & perfect like this forever.
Shots & Snuggles (August 2014)
One of my fave pics...Berk is making a heart for Cooper with her hands & he is looking right at it. So sweet. |
Cooper had to get 5 shots and (understandably) came home very fussy and not feeling great. When the kids came home I let them know that his legs were very tender from the shots and we had to be very careful not to bump or squeeze them. They were so concerned about him & felt so badly that he had a rough day, that they all took turns cuddling with him & making him feel better. As you can see, all the love & attention cheered him up...he ate it all up. He may have even milked it a little :) Can't really blame him!
