On Christmas morning we woke up, ran downstairs and discovered the fun things that Santa left! Berkeley asked Santa for crutches (probably the only 7 year old to EVER ask Santa for crutches) which she was thrilled to discover. Her friend Emma broke her leg a couple of months ago and ever since then Berkeley has wanted to "break her leg so she can have crutches just like Emma." I told her NOT to break her leg, I would buy her crutches if she WOULDN'T break her leg, but she ended up asked Santa for them so I didn't need to get them! Both kids asked Santa for booster seats for the car, and Aunt Laura and Uncle Chris ended up getting those for them which brought big smiles. I know, I have strange kids who ask for really bizarre things...booster seats and crutches...for Christmas :) The biggest present was from us...we broke down and bought a Wii. We saved it for last and pretended all the presents were done and then a bit later "discovered a forgotten present" and they just about came out of their skin!
Santa actually visited Papa & Grandma Potts' house. Oliver spotted him coming up the walk and Finley was excited to see him outside, but once he came inside she did not leave the safety of Grandma's & mom's lap until he was gone. It was a really fun surprise...even Malacai got into it. As much as a 14 year old can get into it, anyway :)
Love all the pictures! Yes I agree, you have the only kids that would ask for booster seats and crutches!!!!! Too funny!
