Oliver happened to have school on the same day as Halloween and I got to go and help with their Harvest Party. The kids did some fun crafts and ate some yummy food. Later that night we tried trick or treating for the first time. We went to our old neighborhood for about an hour. The kids had a blast and got TONS of candy. We avoided the scary houses and just went to the fun ones. We saw lots of our old neighbors and had fun catching up with them. We knocked on the door of our old house and met the people who bought it. It looks exactly the same and they said they love everything about it. They were super friendly and it was nice to see them taking good care of it.
After an hour of trick or treating we went to Fall Festival at our old church like we always do. The kids had fun playing in the inflatables and playing games. On our way home, Finley was asleep within 3 minutes of leaving. Stopped at Uncle's for treats, got everyone home and in bed. I'd say it was another successful Halloween!
