We kind of did 2 Christmas Eve's this year. We did a "mini" one a week before Christmas at our house just for something different and then we did the "official" one at Chris & Laura's house like we always do. The kids had a great time and the time went way to fast. It was funny...about 2 weeks leading up to Christmas there was a commercial for Huffy bikes and one of the bikes on the commercial was the exact one that Berk got last year from Uncle Jer. He couldn't wait to give them their brand new bikes so he gave them to Berk & Oliver about a week early and told them they were from Santa. As Oliver watched the commercial, he asked me to rewind it a couple of times and commented that "that was Berkeley's bike." A few days later I overheard him say to Berk "Berkeley, Uncle cheated...that bike wasn't from Santa, it was from Huffy." He was completely serious and I went into another room and had a good laugh over that one. He is one smart little cookie. He does not miss a thing. They each wrote out about 3 lists for Santa because they kept thinking of things they forgot to ask for so after the final revision, we mailed them off. They ended up getting responses from Santa in the mail which I thought was pretty cool. They were so excited that Santa received their letters and wrote back. Looks like the USPS is finally improving their customer service. How refreshing :)
